In Washington, DC, far-right groups and counterprotesters are expected to hold separate rallies outside the White House on the anniversary of the deadly “Unite the Right” protest in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dozens of activists and residents have held a vigil in Charlottesville to mark one year after the far-right rally against the removal of a Confederate statue that ended with the death of an antiracism protester.
