Tropical Storm Florence has caused serious flooding in North and South Carolina and knocked out power to more than 900,000 properties.
Originally a hurricane, it has now been downgraded to a tropical storm. But the storm is expected to linger along the Carolina coast for the next 24-36 hours and forecasters still warn of flash-flooding as it moves inland.
Al Jazeera’s Kristen Saloomey reports from Fayetteville, in North Carolina.
