Nearly a million Rohingyas have fled the brutality of the Burmese army.
Today, they scrape out a living in Bangladesh, in the world’s biggest refugee camp – a stone’s throw from the land which they have inhabited for generations.
Across the barbed wire are their persecutors, who have always considered them illegal immigrants.

We haven’t touched the innocent but those who fled to Bangladesh and have not come back are guilty of something: they have broken the law. The security forces are here to protect our citizens.
